Title: Gilman Street Playing Fields
Description: The proposed Gilman Street Playing Fields include two artificial turf soccer fields, two natural turf softball fields, one natural turf hardball field, all of which are multipurpose, a small field house, field lighting, a tot lot, vault toilets and parking. The project also includes the proposed amendments to the Waterfront Specific Plan/General Plan and the Zoning Ordinance, BMC Section 23E.88.030. Council approved the preliminary site plan for the proposed playing fields on February 22, 2005, as the preferred alternative, in order to proceed with CEQA review.
