Title
Dry Creek Rancheria - Fee to Trust Project
Description
A fee-to-trust transfer of one 18-acre parcel and the subsequent development of tribal housing, emergency services, and agricultural development. The purpose of the proposed action is to restore the Tribe's land base and to improve the socio-economic status of the Tribe as well as provide tribal residents housing. The Tribe's intended use of the property involves eight, approximately 2,000 square foot tribal residences, an 8,000 square foot emergency services building, approximately 4.1 acres of vineyards, and a 5,600 square foot winery with tribal office space. Native plant use areas would also be identified and protected for use by tribal members, and several infrastructure projects are proposed to make developments on the proposed trust parcels possible.
