- The proposed amendments to Regulation VIII would provide broader applicability, reduce certain thresholds, remove certain exemptions, and includes updated tables that clarify dust control requirements and options. District staff estimates implementation of the proposed amendments to Regulation VIII to reduce cumulative emissions by approximately 18.8 tons per day for all categories of fugitive emissions.
