Title: Pruitt Creek Fish Barrier Removal Project
Description: Mendocino County Department of Transportation is proposing to modify the box culvert on Pruitt Creek tributary to Big River, Mendocino County. The culvert was identified as a priority site by the Ross Taylor Culvert Inventory. The project involves the installation of baffles and the creation of a boulder weir to facilitate fish passage. The culvert is 10 feet high, 12 feet wide and 29 feet long and is located on Orr Springs Road at mile marker 30.44. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a renewal of Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2004-0336-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code.
