Title: Conservation Plan for the Bishop Peak Natural Reserve
Description: Land use and conservation plan for 352 acres of City- and State-owned open space known as the Bishop Peak Natural Reserve. The County of San Luis Obispo manages the State-owned lands under an agreement with the State Parks Department. The plan provides direction on the management of recreational activities, wildlife protection, wildfire management, and sensitive habitat conservation. The ultimate aim of the plan is to reconcile public use of the land for recreation with the conservation of natural resources, protection of sensitive species, and wildfire and emergency preparedness.
