- Applicant proposes to modify an existing Use Permit (UP 03-12) and reconsider a previous Initial Study (IS 03-46) for the South Lake Refuse Resource Recovery & Compost Facility. The applicant proposes to increase vehicle trips, add half an acre to the project site, build a 30,000 square foot structure to cover existing and proposed recycling activities and operate a concrete crusher to process/recycle concrete. Subsequent to the modification of the Use Permit, the applicant will need to revise their existing Solid Waste Facility Permit issued by the California Integrated Waste Management Board.
