Title
Recycled Water Pipeline, Reservoir and Pump Station
Description
The project implements OWD's agreement with City of San Diego to purchase 6.0 million gallons per day of recycled water from the City's SBWRP for irrigation of public areas and industrial processes within OWD's 125.5-square mile service area. Recycled water will be conveyed from the SBWRP via a 30-inch buried water supply pipeline over approximately six miles in a northeasterly direction to West Point Drive in the City of Chula Vista. An aboveground 12.0-million gallon recycled water reservoir and pump station would be constructed east of West Point Drive at an elevation of approximately 420 feet in the unincorporated area of San Diego County.
