Title: Joe Mims Jr. Hagginwood Community Center Rehabilitation Project (CIP#: CE31)
Description: The project consists of construction work to rehabilitate the existing Joe Mims Jr. Hagginwood Community Center in Hagginwood Park by developing a phased project Master Plan consisting of two phases. Phase 1 involves the demolition and improving the entrance area of the existing building by constructing an additional 5,790+/- sq.ft. of new entry/lobby area, office space, upgraded and expanded restrooms, new meeting rooms, janitor and storage area, events display area, and outdoor courtyard. Phase 2 under the Master Plan involves the remodeling of the existing 7,033+/- sq.ft. building space and constructing additional activity rooms, restrooms, janitor and storage areas, service areas, patio area and landscaping.
