Big Bear Area Regional Wastewater Agency Pilot Recharge Test Program

Description

The proposed Big Bear Area Regional Wastewater Agency (BBARWA) project involves surface artificial recharge pilot test field studies, which consist of three pilot recharge studies to be conducted at three separate site locations: Green Spot, Van Dusen Canyon, and Sand Canyon. Recharge basins will be constructed at each location and potable water will be delivered to each basin for recharge. An estimated maximum 84.4 acre-feet may be recharged and monitoring wells will be installed to evaluate the recharge potential at each location.
