Title: Third Amendment to the Amended Redevelopment Plan for The California City Redevelopment Project Area
Description: The Redevelopment Plan for the California City Redevelopment Project Area (the Project), was approved and adopted bu the City Council of the City of California City on July 8, 1999 by Ordinance No. 38-401. The Redevelopment Plan has been formally amended twice. The first amendment (First Amendment) was adopted on December 20, 1994, by Ordinance No. 94-504 to establish or modify existing limits on the repayment of project debt or loans, advances, and indebtedness, and for plan effectiveness, as mandated by Section 33333.6 of the Health and Safety Code (added by Chap. 942, 1993 Statutes, commonly known as AB 1290). The second aendment was adopted by Ordinance No. 02-602 to add certain territories to the California City RedevelopmentProject Area (Second Amendment Area). The Scond Amendment specifically prohibited the Agency from receiving tax increment financing to the Amendment Area.
