- The Dept. of Fish and Game is approving a two-year extension of the existing incidental take permit issued in July 2005 for the subdivision and development of ~30.3 acres into a single-family residential community. The permit, issued under California Endangered Species Act, authorizes the take of the Mohave ground squirrel and requires full mitigation of the impacts of that take. The extension will not change the extent of impact or mitigation.
