Beaumont Former Manufactured Gas Plant Site

Description

Removal action and site restoration work is scheduled to be completed in approximately twelve weeks. Normal construction and earthwork equipment such as excavator, front-end loader, backhoe, and compactor will be used during removal activities. It is estimated that approximately 5,571 cubic yards of contaminated soil (from the AC Propane Site) would be transported offsite. This would require approximately 310 truckloads (18 cubic yards/truck) leaving the site. Assuming the soil removal would be accomplished, at a minimum, in 13 working days, a maximum of 23 trucks would leave the site each day.
