- Description
- The proposed project enables the American red Cross to construct a new Southern California Region blood processing facility at Cal Poly's Innovation Village on 15 acres. The porject anticipates providing internship opportunities for Cal Poly students as well as employment opportunities for graduates. This 190,000 GSF proposed building will consist f a two-story precast concrete panel wall system with glass panel window inserts, aluminum accent panels, and a flat roof. The facility will include space for laboratories, administrative offices, materials management and a donor room, to be occupied December 2004. The project includes the construction of parking to accommodate 920 vehicles.
