The project consists of the construction and operation of a new active recreation area on a 2.1-acre portion of the larger Waterfront Park, located in downtown San Diego. The project proposes development on a previously mass graded passive recreational project site to expand recreational resources within Waterfront Park, including an off-leash dog zone, basketball court, pickleball courts, a T-ball field, table tennis area, and an outdoor fitness area.
