- Description
- The Boeing Company and Aerojet-General Corporation plan to remove approximately 3,500 cubic yards of soil contaminated with dioxin, and excavate and compost approximately 3,600 cubic yards of perchlorate contaminated soil down to a depth of 15 feet below ground surface. The dioxin will be hauled offsite and disposed of at a permitted hazardous waste facility. The perchlorate will be excavated and stockpiled on-site, then treated with bacteria.
