Title: Camanche Recreation Area Equestrian Camp Project
Description: EBMUD proposes development of an equestrian camping facility at the Camanche South Shore Recreation Area. The camp will accommodate individual and group camping for equestrians by reservation, accommodating up to 128 people at one time. The camp will be available to other organized groups when not reserved by equestrians. Development will include a looped gravel road for circulation, installation of a potable waterline (1,750 feet), and 7 reservable sites that accommodate different size groups. Proposed common facilities include: 6 portable toilets, 5 hose bibs, 2 hydrants, a horse wash station (2 stall), 3 horse waste bins, 8 trash containers, overflow trailer parking, additional hitching areas, and trail access to the Coast to Crest Trail and the entrance station.
