Title: River of Life Christian Church Modification Project
Description: The River of Life Christian Church facility is currently developed with a one-story building totaling 133,300 sf, a perimeter surface parking lot and landscaping. The proposed project is the intensification of the existing religious assembly use with the construction of a new church sanctuary and outdoor plaza for religious assembly and outdoor activities. The project proposes to construct an approximately 32,553 sf building with 1,942 seats, east of the existing building. The building would be 46 ft in ht, matching the existing building. The existing ROLCC facility operates under a CUP approved by the Santa Clara City Council in 2002. Under the proposed CUP, the ROLCC facility would increase its assembly capacity for religious services from approximately 1,200 to 3,500 persons at any one given time.
