Title
South Cordelia Zone 1 Water Reservoir
Description
Construction of a five million gallon water tank for municipal water supply, a 3,200 linear foot, 30 inch water transmission pipeline, a 460 linear foot, 24 inch reservoir overflow pipeline, a 1,900 gallon per minute pump station, a 12 foot by 24 foot buried valve vault adjacent to the reservoir on its southeast edge and accompanying staircase, and construction of an access drive by extending an existing PG&E access road. The reservoir will be located underground on the south face of a hillside immediately south of the City limits, south of the southeast corner of the Garibaldi Ranch. Access to the site would be obtained by constructing 760 foot long access drive to the reservoir from the existing PG&E road on the south side of the hill, which would connect to Lopes Road, approximately one mile north of Marshview Road. Once exaction and construction are completed, approximately 30,000 cubic yards of fill will be brought in and placed over the reservoir site and the length of the access drive. A pump is planned at the northeastern boundary of the project area at the pipeline terminus on the west side of Lopes Road. The pump house will be 12 feet high at its highest point and 43 feet long.
