Title: Final Closure and Transfer Station for Black Butte Landfill
Description: Siskiyou County proposes to (1) cease placing municipal and commercial refuse into Black Butte Landfill, (2) construct a solid-waste transfer station in and move the existing recycling area to the existing landfill borrow area, and (3) close the land fill. Municipal waste will be transferred to another licensed waste-disposal facility. A Siskiyou County Registration Permit for a "medium-volumne" transfer station is being sought for the Transfer Station (closure will be performed under the existing permits).
