- The proposed project is a 51-acre expansion of the existing 13 acre sand and gravel pit. As proposed, the pit will encompass the entire site area which lies north of the Argus Wash, resulting in 64 acres of disturbance on the 80-acre parcel. The State Lands Commission action is an approval of a 10-year Mineral Extraction Lease.
