Description

CDFG is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (SAA # 6-2001-109) pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Tava/SCS, a California Limited Liability Company. The applicant proposes to construct 304 single-family residences and two debris basin on approximately 90 acres; the larger of the two debris basins will cover approximately 3.34 acres and will be constructed in Brown Canyon at the downstream end of the project, while the second debris basin will cover approximately 1.61 acres and will be constructed in Hunt Canyon at the western project boundary. A levy will be constructed along Brown Canyon for slope protection. The levy will extend from the Brown Canyon debris basin upstream along the edge of the drainage for approximately 1,500 feet. The project is located in Riverside County.
