Description: Georgia Pacific Montebello has prepared an Interim Measures (IM) Work Plan for removal of volatile organic compounds (VOC's) from soil at the facility. The IM Work Plan is a requirement of Section IVB of the Corrective Action Consent Agreement dated February 5, 1996. Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) with treatment of the extracted vapors using thermal oxidation is proposed as the IM.
