Title: Industrial Tract Stream Environment Zone Restoration
Description: The project proposes to remove 400 feet of Industrial Avenue or approximately 14,800 square feet of land coverage in an SEZ, including the asphalt and the concrete curb, and constructing a cul-de-sac. Surface flow which is currently carried in an 18-inch culvert under Industrial Avenue will be brought to the surface and spread out over the restored surface. In addition, the SEZ restoration will be enhanced by redirecting 20.8 cubic square feet into the restoration area from a vegetated channel which discharges to the Tahoe Valley Watershed Erosion Control Project. This will improve both the SEZ function in the Industrial Tract as well as in the Tahoe Valley Project by creating a better balance between runoff flow and treatment capacity.
