- The Department will purchase banked groundwater from Buena Vista Water Storage District, West Kern Water District, and Rosedale Rio-Bravo Water Storage District (Districts) in 2001, and possibly in 2002, upon completion of an agreement between the Department and the Districts. The water will be used for the CALFED Environmental Water Account for fishery protection.
