Title: 1977 Feather River Enhancement Project Completion (FREP)
Description: The California Department of Fish and Game is executing Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement number R2-2001-252 pursuant to section 1601 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Feather River Park and Recreation District. This agreement pertains to a project to improve access to the Oroville Wildlife Area ponds west of Highway 70 and south of Highway 152. The project includes improvement of existing roads and parking areas, installation of a water line and restrooms, and clearing of vegetation for trails and access to the ponds. The project is proposed on Department of Fish and Game property. Management and operation of the project will be the responsibility of the Feather River Parks and Recreation District.
