Description: The City of Sacramento, Department of Utilities proposes to construct a detention basin to provide a significant health and safety benefit through the reduction of flooding, by allowing for more effective management of storm events and reducing impacts to the City's storm water system during storm events. The project has also been designed to include public recreational opportunities.
