Description: The San Gabriel/Verdugo Mountains Scenic Preservation Specific Plan is intended to protect designated prominent ridgelines from grading and/or development; protect the unique native plant communities of the area (including further protection for Oak trees); assure that the design of commercial and industrial buildings (and related improvements) within designated Scenic Highway corridors preserve, complement and/or enhance the views from these corridors; and preserve the historic equestrian and domestic livestock nature of the area.
