Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve Land Use Plan Amendment

Description

The purpose of the proposed project is to establish a long-term vision to guide future decisions affecting use and management of Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve (Preserve). To implement this vision, the proposed project includes recommendations for trail and facility development; public access and recreation; land management; public safety; and natural and cultural resource protection. Adoption of the proposed project will lead to opening roughly 5,000 acres of parkland adjacent to the Preserve. The proposed project balances conservation of natural and cultural resources against public access and use.
