Description: The applicant proposes to dredge approximately 15,000 cubic yards of material from approximately 2.4 miles of river bed between the Salinas River and Monterey Dunes Way road. The California Department of Fish and Game (DFG) is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (#R3-2000-0664) pursuant to Section 1601 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Rich Boyer / Monterey County Water Resources Agency.
