Description: This subsequent EIR updates the Redevelopment Project EIR prepared in 1981, when the CRPA (Consolidated Redevelopment Project Area) was first formed. With 2,091 acres, the CRPA encompasses 6 separate project areas and planned development of about 6.7 million square feet of uses, the majority of which (6.5 msf) will be in heavy industry, with the balance devoted to light industry and commercial uses.
