Paso Robles Vineyard Agricultural Cluster Subdivision Project

Description

An unnamed drainage flows through the agricultural valleys east of Paso Robles before tributarying to Huerhuero Creek (Township26S, Range12E, Section 25, APN 026-211-033). The proposed project would install a 36-inch corrugated metal pipe in the drainage to allow flow to pass under a road. Approximately 192 cubic yards of cut and fill would be needed to accomodate the culvert and the road crossing. Approximately 12 cubic yards of rock slope protection would be installed at the culvert inflow and outflow to dissipate the water's energy and reduce erosion. While several other culverts would be installed within the adjacent area, the other culverts would be installed in areas that are noth within the Department's jurisdiction and therefore are not subject to this agreement. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2004-0627-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Mr. Phil Christensen/Paso Robles Vineyards.
