Description

The operator proposes to replace an existing damaged sewer pipeline by installing a new 18-inch sewer pipeline that will cross under Edwards Creek, along Loring Avenue approximately 500 feet west of Rolph Avenue in Crockett, Contra Costa County. Approximately three feet upstream from the existing headwall at Loring Avenue a trench approximately four feet wide by up to six feet deep will be dug through the bed and banks of the creek. The 18-inch pipe will be installed on a layer of concrete, and concrete will be used to surround the pipe up to the existing flow line in the bed of the creek. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0156 pursuant to Section 1601 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Kent Peterson/Crockett Valona Sanitary District.
