Description: Mid-Peninsula High School is a small, non-profit private alternative high school with a student poplation of between 150 and 175 students, and an administrative/faculty population of 20-25. The school is in the process of purchasing the property at 1340 Willow Road, where an existing warehouse facility currently operates. The proposal includes estensive interior and exterior renovation of the building, including construction of a partial second story within the existing building to accommodate school uses, and landscaping. In addition, the school has leased a portion of the adjacent Hetch-Hetchy right-of-way to utilize a portion of the adjacent Hetch-Hetchy right-of-way for parking, student drop-off, and playing fields.
