Title: Reclamation District 2035 Levee Rehabilitation Project of 1999
Description: The levee protecting RD 2035 was damaged during the "El Nino" floods in winter and spring of 1998. Wavewash eroded the waterside toe of the levee along over 14,000 linear feet of the west Yolo Bypass levee and north Willow Slough Bypass levee. The levee will be repaired with compacted earthfill then hydroseeded with an herbaceous seed mix to prevent surface erosion. There will be no significant environmental impacts associated with this projects, because measures will be implemented to avoid impacts to endangered species.
