Santa Ana River Basin Well Project

Description

The proposed project will consists of a water well, up to 1,400 feet deep, a pump station, water treatment facilities, and an emergency generator. Treated water from the well will be conveyed to LBCWD's MWD connect CM-1 and CM-12 via MWD's Orange County feeder. Approximately the first 9 miles of the conveyance from the proposed well to the East Orange County Feeder Number 2 will require a new transmission line from the well to the east.
