Description: California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to section 1603 (SAA #5-530-98) of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Kathleen Porterfield, representing Encinitas Country Day School. The applicant proposes to alter the streambed of an unnamed drainage, tributary to the San Elijo Lagoon to accommodate the construction of a 42,144 feet private elementary school on an 11.5-acre site with a swimming pool and track field. The drainage will be filled and the flow will be diverted through on-site storm drain inlet filters, sand/oil interceptors and percolation trenches impacting 0.1 acre of streambed.
