Description: Coastal Conservation and Research, Inc. is requesting $1,334,030 from the Ocean Protection Council's Proposition 1 Water Quality, Supply, and Infrastructure Improvement Act of 2014. The funding will allow for the acquisition of a 34-acre parcel, design and construction of a weir, and provision of technical advice related to operation of a tidal gate system. The activities being funded are consistent with the Moro Cojo Slough Management and Enhancement Plan.
