Change hours at the Chicago Grade Landfill includes specified landfill entry for transfer trailers 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday; amended receipt of waste from the public to 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays only; amended ancillary operations/ facility operation hours 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday through Sunday; specified tire shredder employee and operating hours 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Sunday; and extended hours for employees to 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Sunday. Increase in waste slope steepness from 3:1 to 2.5:1; and increase in permitted waste disposal area from 36.25 to 38.44 acres within the 45.4-acre permitted area and an increase in permitted traffic volume from 240 to 280 vehicles on Saturdays only.
