Description: The project consists of adding an additional lane in each direction on the Antelope Valley Freeway (Route 14) by restructuring the median and shoulders. Improvements will include: Shoulder widening in the median and at various locations on the right shoulder, Bridge widening, a HOV lane in each direction, Widen and raise the Sand Canyon Overcrossing, California Highway Patrol (CHP) enforcement areas, Noise barriers.
