NORTH COAST AREA PLAN UPDATE DRAFT EIR

Description

Prepare North Coast Area Plan update that comprehensively reviews new information or conditions that affect land use policy and to review the effectiveness of policies in implementing plan goals for San Simeon, Cambria and rural areas. The update will describe land use policies proposed for the entire North Coast planning area. All area plan chapters are up for revisions (Population and Economy, Public Facilities and Services, Circulation, Land Use, Combining Designations, Planning Area Standards); as well as associated maps (identifying the Land Use Categories (adopted as general plan designations and also as zoning districts), Combining Designations (adopted as special "overlay" general plan designations and zoning districts), and Circulation. NCAP planning area standards and programs are proposed for The project description includes a new chapter on "Coastal Access".
