Description: El Rancho Verde Specific Plan Amendment No. 1. The El Rancho Verde Specific Plan Amendment encompasses 221 acres. The project is an amendment to a specific plan that was approved for a golf course/residential community in 1992 by the City of Rialto. The changes proposed under the Specific Plan Amendment include the development of 156 additional dwelling units to the existing approved 144 units for a total of 300 high-quality single-family detached 'for sale' dwelling units on lots which are a minimum of 4,000 square feet, moving the majority of the residential development area to the northern portion of the project site, and increasing the size of the clubhouse to approximately 19,339 square feet. An EIR was certified by the City in 1992 when the El Rancho Verde Specific Plan was adopted. The City prepared an addendum to the 1992 certified EIR.
