Quail Lake Specific Plan

Description

The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Quail Lake, LLC. The applicant proposes to construct and operate a groundwater recharge system for seasonal impoundment of water in Redbank Slough. A reinforced concrete weir structure 12.5 feet high and 255 feet wide will be constructed within Redbank slough to impound water. Riparian vegetation will be planted on the upper banks of the impoundment as mitigation for vegetation lost through inundation.
