San Jose Regional Sanitary Landfill (Kirby Canyon)
Description
In order to continue waste disposal operations, a new waste disposal containment area in an adjacent portion of the undeveloped footprint must be developed at Kirby Canyon Recycling and Disposal Facility, located in the City of San Jose in Santa Clara County. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2003-0500-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Joe Morse / Waste Management of California, Incorporated.
