Document Description
The emissions reduction unit installed in Niland Generating Station gas turbines Units 1 and 2 for reducing NOx, CO, HCs and PMs, by-products of electrical power generation, has deteriorated requiring replacement of the CO catalyst and maintenance of the selective catalytic reduction system. Emissions reduction units must operate properly to significantly reduce the amount of emissions released from fuel combustion during power generation, otherwise air permit violations could result due to the release of higher levels of contaminants.
