Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project is Categorically Exempt from environmental proceedings pursuant to Section 15301, Class 1, Existing Facilities, of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines since the proposed project consists of minor alterations to an existing major wireless telecommunications facility which consists of the installation of one Hybrid Feeder Cabling Solution (HCS), four quad-sector ring mounts, two-panel antennas, five remote radio units (RRUs), in addition to the removal of one radio base station (RBS), and two baseband units (BBUs). Furthermore, there is no proposed expansion to the existing site.
