Document Description
San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency {SFMTA) proposes to implement pedestrian and bicycle safety improvements on Oak Street between Stanyan Street and Baker Street, JFK Drive between Kezar Drive and Stanyan Street, and Baker Street between Fell Street and Oak Street. The project would add a protected eastbound bikeway connecting the JFK Drive Promenade with the existing Oak Street protected bike lane at Baker Street by converting one travel lane, along with pedestrian safety improvements such as painted safety zones, traffic islands, and signal modifications. It would also add a protected southbound bikeway on Baker Street connecting the east end of the Panhandle's shared-use path with the existing Oak Street bikeway east of Baker Street.
