Document Description
A Notice of Exemption for an investigation to gather additional data at the Last Chance Grade landslide complex. The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes a geotechnical investigation at two boring locations on Highway 101 in Del Norte County along the stretch known as Last Chance Grade (LCG), at approximate Post Miles 14.6 and 15.7. The purpose of this geotechnical investigation is to adequately characterize and evaluate subsurface conditions in the LCG Project area and provide information about the shape and depth of movement of the LCG landslide complex and the relationship between the earthflow and rockslide complex.
