Document Description
The Town of Paradise proposes the Roe Road Extension Project (Phases 1 and 2) (Project), which will construct a new two-lane roadway named Roe Road, with a Class I multiuse pathway from Pentz Road to Clark Road. The Project is the first two of a multi-phased improvement to construct a new (up to) 5-mile east-west roadway connecting the evacuation routes of Pentz Road, Clark Road/State Route 191, Neal Road, and Skyway. Both phases would comply with California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Class I bikeway design and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, including the installation of curb ramps, storm drain infrastructure, light-emitting diode streetlights, and vegetation management zones up to 8 feet wide to keep trees and plants away from the roadway and provide an improved firebreak. Both phases would also require the acquisition of approximately 72 feet (in width) private right-of-way.
