Document Description
Caltrans proposes work on the transportation assets that have been determined to be in poor condition and meet the Caltrans District 11 Ten-Year Performance Plan. The work proposed will upgrade or repair various highway assets on State Route 67 (SR-67) in San Diego County from post mile (PM) 4.1 to 15.9. This is a complete streets project to be consistent with Deputy Directive DD-64-R2. The current scope has 34 culvert locations that need replacement or repair. The work also includes replacement of lighting and sign panels, roadside worker safety elements, bicycle/pedestrian improvements, and upgrading curb ramps to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Moreover, wildlife fencing will be installed to prevent entry into sensitive habitats. Environmental Commitments are included in the ECR.
