Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Procession Code, Section 26012, approved a Small Mixed-Light Tier 1 commercial cannabis license submitted on 4/10/2024 by Lopez Galvez. The Project will consist of cannabis cultivation on an existing site located at 2270 Road E (APN 161-250-08-00). This project was issued Mendocino County cultivation permit CANC-2023-0011 on 10/18/2024. The site is zoned Agricultural (AG:40) and since 1970, it has been used as a vineyard. This site now includes cannabis production with no plans for future expansion. Activities that take place include cannabis cultivation, drying, curing, weighing, trimming, disposal, and storage. The project’s water supply will be supported by a local hauler, there is onsite septic for wastewater, and power is provided by the local utility company.

Class 1 Categorical Exemptions consist of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alterations to existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency’s determination. None of the exceptions to this exemption defined in Section 15300.2 apply.
